Emerald Waters Estates is located within the District of Coldstream which neighbours the City of Vernon, the largest centre in the North Okanagan. The "Greater Vernon" area is a thriving urban center of 55,000+ residents. Well situated with a five hour drive west to Vancouver and six hours North East to Calgary, or a one hour flight in either direction (Kelowna International Airport is only an hour away).

The Vernon British Columbia hikers and bikers are also very fortunate, with numerous hiking and cycling routes for all types of nature lovers. A unique linked trail system to discover Provincial and regional parks.
